Some years ago, Pretani Researchers travelled to his birthplace at Bukhara in modern Uzbekistan. They travelled on President Boris Yeltsin\u2019s train, with Russian Guards, on the Old Silk Road to China, through the Kyzylkum Desert from Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urganch, Khiva and back again. More recently they have also been to see Avicenna\u2019s works in Marsh\u2019s Library, Dublin, beside St Patrick\u2019s Church of Ireland Cathedral.
