Dr Ian Adamson OBE was honoured recently to present his book, A Journey to the Immortal Isles, The Voyage of Bran, Son of Febal to the UUHF in Ballywalter, Co Down. The UUHF was formed in 2007 when history enthusiasts from the Ards Peninsula met and decided to form a history forum to advance their knowledge. Their main focus remains military history. They collect artefacts and memorabilia from both World Wars as well as past conflicts, including the Boer War and United Irishmen.
