As part of the Pretani Education Programme, Pretani Associates continued their Launch series of Dr Adamson’s book in the Whitehill Estate, Bangor, close to the site of the mediaeval monastery. They were hosted by the Pride of Whitehill Band. Music was an important part of the life of the monastery and the continuation of that tradition an essential element of our British heritage and culture, both here and in the Appalachian region of the United States, where Gospel Music from Ulster reached its apogee.
